Shoqata e Peshkatarëve Sportiv Rekreativ “Trofta” u themelua në vitet ’90 me synimin për të bashkuar të gjithë adhuruesit e peshkimit dhe për të mbrojtur florën dhe faunën e lumenjve dhe liqeneve në territorin e komunës së Pejës. Aktiviteti kryesor i shoqatës është monitorimi dhe ruajtja e ekosistemeve ujore, ndërsa ndër vite ka organizuar gara kampionale, shoqërore dhe memoriale, duke u bërë një nga shoqatat më të suksesshme dhe më të respektuara në Kosovë.
The Sport and Recreational Fishing Association “Trofta” was established in the 1990s with the aim of uniting fishing enthusiasts to help protect the flora and fauna of rivers and lakes under the administration of the Municipality of Peja. The association’s core mission is the monitoring and preservation of aquatic ecosystems. Over the years, it has also organized numerous championship, social, and memorial fishing competitions, earning a reputation as one of the most successful and respected fishing associations in Kosovo.
